KARLS LIEBLINGSTOUR - 320 km

Prosecco tour with a detour to Valdobbiadene

Lavazè Pass - Valdobbiadene - Passo Di San Boldo - Passo Di San Pellegrino - Passo Di Rolle Monte Cimon (view of Venice) - Forcella Franche - Carezza Pass

This 320 km full-day tour is made for the pros among you. We call it the Prosecco Tour because it takes you through the world-famous Prosecco di Valdobbiadene wine-growing region. First you ride up to the Lavazè Pass and then down into the Fiemme Valley. Via Stava, Tesero and Predazzo you reach Paneveggio, where it is worth visiting the national park's deer enclosure and the impressive wood museum (free admission). Continue over the Passo Rolle to San Martino di Castrozza and from there via Moline to Feltre. You reach Valdobbiadene via the SS 348, which runs towards Venice.

Our tip: make a pit stop and sample a glass of Prosecco in one of the local wineries. There's always an occasion for a toast. From Valdobbiadene, you have the option of taking a detour along a winding mountain road up to Monte Cimon (1,348 metres). You will be rewarded with views that stretch as far as Venice. Monte Cimon is roughly a half point of today's tour. The way back takes you through the picturesque Fassa Valley over the Passo San Pellegrino to Moena and Vigo di Fassa. From here you ride back over the Carezza Pass into the Eggental valley and "home" to your Hotel Mondschein.
