MOONLIGHT MOMENTS
A lot of you. Lots of moonlight.
Emotions, impressions, surprises, enthusiasm, praise... perhaps also suggestions and tips... and hopefully no disappointments - because we would be very sorry to hear that! We strive every day anew to provide our guests with unforgettable holidays!
We have been regular guests for 10 years and feel completely at ease and well looked after. We love the Weissensteiner family and their staff very much and can't imagine a better winter holiday. Skiing on beautiful pistes in the morning, wellness in the hotel at lunchtime and a great menu for dinner in the evening. What more could you want? More relaxation is not possible for us.
We spent 12 wonderful honeymoon days at the Mondschein, a hotel that is run professionally and yet with love, hospitality and a great ambience in a good location by Nina and her team. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the five-course menu, which changes daily in the evening, was presented by the kitchen team in extremely high-quality form. It was not only a feast for the eyes, but also a culinary delight without equal. The wellness area with sauna, steam bath and swimming pool is a feel-good area with exclusive loungers, cushions and cosy blankets. Everything is very tastefully coordinated, clean, tidy, pure relaxation. For us as motorbike riders, the Mondschein is also a great starting point for winding tours in the most beautiful natural surroundings. You can park your bike in the covered area and clean or maintain it if necessary. The stable was full, it was great. Once again a big thank you to the whole team, we had a great time and will definitely be back.
Dear Nina, dear Weissensteiner family, dear Mondschein team. We don't want to spend too much time here describing and praising the many advantages of the Hotel Mondschein - anyone who looks at the homepage or reads some of the countless online reviews on the various portals on the Internet can and should form their own opinion of their chosen holiday home. The different needs of the various holiday guests in the different seasons (summer, winter, motorcyclists, skiers, hikers, cyclists) can be perfectly catered for here. We would like to summarise here what we think is most important about this hotel. As long as we have been regular guests here at least once a year since 2001, the Mondschein has undergone many changes - the hotel itself has been continuously modernised and adapted to today's conditions and standards, the kitchen has adapted its standards again and again, and the rooms have been renovated. The kitchen has constantly adapted and improved its standards - sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less - the staff has changed to some extent, the little girl who very resolutely demanded our passports in 2001 is now the junior manager.
A certain high standard was ALWAYS maintained or exceeded in all areas!
You could call all this a prerequisite for a good holiday resort and take it more or less for granted these days - but what we don't take for granted is how the entire staff - from the hotel management to the kitchen and service staff to the cleaning staff - make you feel at home. Everyone, really everyone, is always friendly and endeavours to listen to requests and suggestions and is there for the guest.
This is exactly the reason why we chose the Hotel Mondschein - we feel at home here!
We really enjoyed our time here. Coming to the hotel is like coming home. It's great that everyone, whether it's the service, the bosses or the room staff, always has a friendly word and time for a few - sometimes longer - conversations. Everyone has a smile on their face and that feels so good. The food is simply amazing and unfortunately we had to realise that we have got older and can no longer eat so much. Of course we did, because it's just too delicious.
We spent two nights in a Moon room. In addition to the excellent welcome, the cleanliness of the room, the tranquillity of the place and the friendly and courteous staff, who were ready for any request, were also appreciated. The food is excellent, as are the breakfasts and dinners with typical but not banal dishes. A hotel to relax in that lives up to expectations.
If there is a paradise for bikers, then this place is it. Thanks to its good location as a starting point for many famous tours, such as the Sella Ronda, Nina and her family welcome everyone. The staff are very attentive and extremely friendly. There is plenty of covered space for motorbikes - you can wash them at high pressure, check the tyre pressure and top up the oil. The rooms are modern, beautiful and clean. The wellness area consists of a sauna, a steam bath and an indoor pool with indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. Everything is modern and well maintained. We stayed three nights on our motorbike tour through Switzerland, Italy and Austria and it was by far the best hotel. We had dinner included and it was absolutely worth it - the food was a blast every night. The only bad thing I can remember from our stay was the fact that we left the hotel to continue our journey. I wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it. We were here to ride motorbikes and there was a nice community there which was an added bonus. But we also saw non-motorbike people in the hotel - a very mixed and relaxed community from different countries. The staff speak German, Italian and English.
